South Coast Crews
South Coast streetdance are classes based in Chichester, West Sussex, Taught by myself Lee Sargeant. The aim of our classes are to not just teach you to learn choreography but also to learn some of the specific styles of Streetdance. At the same time as this you will grow in confidence and learn how to perform. Whether you are a complete beginner or a confident dancer our classes are open to everyone.
The South Coast Crew performed in their own Show at the Alexander Theatre, Bognor Regis, Check out this video from a previous show for a short clip. THERE WILL BE A NEW SHOW COMING IN 2017 more information will be available late 2016.
From being a dancer myself and now a Teacher, Choreographer and Manager, I decided to form a streetdance crew for young adults. Back in February 2012, to pass on my experience and passion for dance that I have. Now in 2015 along with the classes I now have three crew's, SOUTH COAST CREW who compete in the under 18s categories at competitions, S.C. FLIPSIDE who will compete in the under 14s category and S.C Unity who will compete in the under 10s category. Looking to the future I hope to have an over 18s crew to compete with too, giving more young people the chance to acheive goals and reach their true potential.
The South Coast Crew had an amazing time at the Worlds this year, placing in the top 6 out of 28 other crew's in their category to be placed straight into sunday's final.
On the Sunday they danced their hearts out and made us all proud by achieving 3rd place in the under 18s category.
